Apa sih galau itu?

Ada yang mendeskripsikan bahwa galau merupakan suatu bentuk perasaan yang timbul karena kebimbangan hati. Menurut KBBI, galau itu diartikan 'kacau tidak keruan (pikiran)'.

Berkaitan dengan galau, saya memiliki beberapa teman lelaki yang terkena wabah perasaan dan pikiran ini. Awalnya saya pikir yang terkena wabah ini hanya kaum hawa namun ternyata juga ke kaum adam, dan ternyata bila diamati, kegalauan kaum adam itu lebih menarik dan bervariasi gayanya, hehehehee...

Sebut saja si Besar, salah satu teman saya yang berjenis kelamin lelaki yang sering kumat ber-galau ria. Salah satu tanda bila dia sedang galau adalah membuat puisi. Hebatnya adalah Besar mampu membuat puisi lebih dari satu, dimana masing-masing puisi tersebut terbilang panjang dan berima sesuai aturan pembuatan puisi seperti pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang kita dapat ketika di bangku sekolah dulu. Puisi-puisi Besar mengangkat beragam tema kehidupan, mulai dari percintaan, kemanusiaan, keluarga, agama, dan lain sebagainya. Usut punya usut, kegalauan itu muncul dikarenakan Besar rindu keluarganya yang jauh di Palembang dan keinginan untuk memiliki keluarga sendiri.

Berbeda dengan Besar, teman saya yang lain, sebut saja Kurus, dia sering galau karena skripsi nya tak kunjung rampung. Berhubung Kurus menekuni bidang fotografi, kegalauannya dituangkan dalam bentuk pengambilan gambar yang beragam dengan penambahan atau peninjauan untuk perbaikan.

Kedua teman saya tadi merupakan contoh positif dari generasi muda saat ini dalam penyaluran kegalauannya. Berikut contoh hasil karya Kurus :

Sedih

Hanya mampu terdiam setiap melihat berita tentang perang yang terjadi di jalur Gaza...sekejam itu zionis yahudi terhadap kaum muslim palestin, astgfirullah.

Dukaku, tak seberat duka mereka. Masalahku, tak seberat masalah mereka. Hidupku, tidak sepusing hidup mereka.

Kuatkanlah kaum muslim palestin di sana ya Allah SWT,, hapuskan para korban perang khususnya dari kaum wanita dan anak2..berilah mukjisatMu agar perang disana berhenti. Aamiin.
